Hema Warin is a marine creature of Himmapan world that has combined features of a Hem and Fish.


- กุญชรวารี

Kunchorn Waree is a marine based creature which has combined features of an elphant and a fish. With quite a strange combination; the creature has only elephant head, 2 front legs of an elephant and the body of a fish, the creature is able to swim swiftly under water.

This creature is often confused with another Elephant-Fish creature, Waree Kunchorn, which has the entire body of an elephant with fish gills and fins.

- มัจฉนาคา
"Mucha Naga" is the name which derrived from 2 words; "Mucha" which means fish and "Naga". Hence the creature possesses both features from the 2 base creatures. Mucha Naga has the head of a Naga with the body and tail of a fish.

"Mucha Wan " is the name which derrived from 2 words; "Mucha" which means fish and "Wan" which means large. In fact, this Himmapan creature is based on a real life colosus size marine mamal--Whale. In most ancient artist depictions, however, would portray them as fish like creatures with sharp and pointy teeth.

- นางเงือก

Nang Ng-uek or mermaid is the marine creature that got mentioned in almost every cultures. Across the world, the creature's described as a beautiful maid and the lower body of afish.

"Pla Kwai" is the name which was derrived from 2 words; "Pla" which is a common word in Thai means fish and "Kwai" which means buffalo. The creature has the head of a buffalo (or cattle like) and the body of a fish.


- ปลาเสือ

"Pla Seau " is the name which was derrived from 2 words; "Pla" which is a common word in Thai means fish and "Seau" which means tiger. The creature has the head of a tiger and the body of a fish.

Saringka Mussaya is a magical fish which was an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. The main task of this fish was to help dragging a boat at the time when the wolrd was flooded. The fish is said to have a single horn grows from its forehead.

Gumpee Nimitr is a mixed creature between an angel and a crocodile. The upper body has features of an angle, and Crocodile features from hips downward.

- เหรา

Hayra or Hayra Pod is a Himmpan creature that was mentioned in old Ayutthaya text. Thai dictionary describes a Hayra as acrocodile like creature with some features of a Naga. This creature is believed to be amphibious and carnivorous.

Crab is another creature that got mentioned quite often in tales and stories espeically ones that related to Lord Buddha. Perhaps, due to its already strange features; hard shell, big clumsy claws, and multiple legs, the creature's often not changed from its real physical form. In fact, in most legends, they are simply larger ones.

Buddha was once born as a great elephant living in Himmapan forest near a pond. This pond's called "Nong Pu" or Crab Pond because the pond is dwelled by a giant crab. This immense crab would slay and eat elephants that come in to the pond for a bath. The great elephant eventually defeat the crab by stumping onto the crab's hard shell. Only the 2 large claws of the crab remain. These 2 claws were floated from this pond. One of the claw was sent to a king which he made a long drum out of it.

The other one was picked up by the race of giant which they used to create a large war drum. Many years pasted, the giants lost the long war against lord Indra. Lord Indra took this drum away from the giants and kept in the heaven called "Dow Dueng". From this legend, it's believed that the tremorous sound from thunder's the result of this war drum.

The Naga, or the king of snakes, is a srpent like creature with beard and pointed crown. In old text, Naga is the half-brother of the Garuda. Base on mythology, the two had the same father and their mothers were sisters. Nagas are sworn enemies of Garudadue to their mother's conflict.

The Naga is often found in Thai architecture and also frequently portrayed giving comfort and shade to the meditating Buddha, the coils of the great snake acting as a cushion while the many heads function as an umbrella.

Khon Tun is a magical being that lives between the human world and the heaven, in teh Himmapan forest. This race of creature is said to be very musical in nature. They are very keen on virtually all sorts of musical instruments. There are many places in old text and literature which mentioned Khon Tun.

One of the most famous tales is the story of Khakee. In the story, Khakee is a beautiful lady who was the cause of the great conflict among the king, lord Garuda, and Khon Tun as the three of them fell in love with the same woman. The fight for the woman's ownership is the main plotline which result in many tragedies.

มัคคะลีผล หรือ นารีผล ต้นไม้ในตำนาน

นารีผล หรือมักกะลีผล หรือมัคคะลีผล เป็นพืชชนิดหนึ่งมีอยู่ในป่าหิมพานต์ ออกดอกผลซึ่งมีรูปร่างเหมือนสตรี ออกดอกช่อขนาดเท่ากับคน ผลมีรูปร่างสัดส่วนเหมือนสาวแรกรุ่นอายุ 16 ปี ผิวมีมะปรางสุก ตาดำสีทอง ตาขาวสีฟ้า ผมสีทอง ตาโตเด่นชัด จมูกเหมือนพระจันทร์เสี้ยว โด่ง 45 องศา ผมสีทอง ที่ขวัญมีขั้วเหมือนมังคุด คิ้วต่อ คอปล้อง มี 3 ปล้อง ไม่มีไหปลาร้า นิ้วมือทั้ง 4 นิ้ว ชี้ กลาง นาง ก้อย ยาวเสมอกัน นิ้วโป้งยาวได้ครึ่งหนึ่งของนิ้วชี้ นิ้วมือและแขนไม่มีข้อปล้อง มีกลิ้นกายหอมที่สุด เต็มไปด้วยกามคุณทั้ง 5 ร่างกายเบาเพราะไม่มีกระดูก

เมื่อต้นนารีผลออกช่อได้ 3 วันก็จะมีประจำเดือน 7 วันร่วงหลุดจากต้น เมื่อหลุดจากต้นแล้วยังอยู่ได้อีก 4-5 เดือน จึงจะเริ่มเหิ่ยว เหมือดอกไม้ และจะหดลงย่อส่วนลง จน หายไปในที่สุด ดอกของมัคคะลีผลนี้ ก็มีหุมมีบานเหมือนดอกบัว 18.00 น. ก็หุบ และ06.00น. ก็บานออกมาร้องรำทำเพลง ส่งกลิ่นหอมตลบอบอวนทั่วทั้งบริเวณนั้น

ฤาษีที่ยังเหาะไม่ได้ก็จะมานั่งที่โคนต้น ส่วน นักสิทธิ์ วิทยาธร คนธรรณ์ ก็จะเหาะมาเอาไปเสพสังวาส

เมื่อประมาณสามหมื่นปีก่อน พระเวสสันดร พร้อมด้วยพระนางมัทรี และบุตร 2 คนคือ ชาลีกุมาร และ กัณหาชิณากุมารี ถูกเนรเทศจากนคร ได้เดินทางสู่ป่าหิมพานต์ ปฏิบัติธรรมอยู่ที่นั้น ท้าวสักกะเทวราช ได้เล็งเห็นอันตรายในป่านั้นจึงได้เนรมิตบรรณศาลาสำหรับพระเวสสันดร พระนางมัทรี และกุมารทั้ง 2 ขณะบำเพ็ญอยู่นางมัทรีต้องออกหาผลไม้ในป่านั้น ซึ่งมีดาบส ฤๅษี นักสิทธิ์ วิทยาธร คนธรรพ์ ทั้งหลายอาศัยอยู่ซึ่งยังมีกิเลส เกงว่าจะมาล่วงศีลพระนางมัทรี ท้าวสักกะเทวราช จึงได้เนรมิตต้นมัคคะลีผล เป็นมัคคะบัญชา หรือเป็นต้นไม้แห่งคำสาปของพระอินทร์ จำนวน 16 ต้น ไว้รอบทิศ ณ ที่ไกล ก่อนถึงบรรณศาลา

ว่ากันว่า จริงๆ แล้ว ผลหนึ่งผล ก็คือรุกขเทพธิดาหนึ่งนาง หรือ เมื่อต้นนารีผลออกดอก เสมือนเกิดวิมานแห่งรุกขเทพธิดาขึ้นที่นั่น เมื่อติดลูก ก็คือเทพธิดาจุติลงมาเกิดที่นั่น ความสวยงามสมบูรณ์แห่งผลนารีผล แต่ละผล จึงสวยงามต่างกัน ขึ้นอยู่กับบุญของเทพธิดาแต่ละนางด้วย... เทพธิดาแต่ละนางที่มาเกิดนั้น หาได้ถูกบังคับมาไม่ แต่เป็นผลกรรมที่ต้องมาเกิด

เมื่อเหล่านักสิทธิ์ วิทยาธร เดินทางมาพบเข้า หากจิตใจไม่เข้มแข็งพอ ตบะแตก ก็จักได้เสพบำเรอกับนารีผล... เมื่อตบะแตก ฤทธิ์เสื่อม เหาะไปต่อไม่ได้ ... เมื่อไปต่อไม่ได้ ก็ไม่มีทางจะได้พบกับพระนางมัทรี.... การจะเดินทางต่อ หรือออกไป จำต้องบำเพ็ญเพียรใหม่ ยกระดับจิตขึ้นแล้ว จึงกลับออกมาได้....

แม้ว่า พระเวสสันดร พระนางมัทรี จะเสด็จออกจากป่าเข้าเมืองไปแล้ว ต้นนารีผล ก็ยังคงมีอยู่ในที่นั้น ตราบเท่าทุกวันนี้ ยังมีดอกหอมกรุ่น มีนารีผลห้อยระย้าอยู่ดังเดิม แม้ลูกที่หมดอายุขัยจะร่วงหล่นเหี่ยวเฉาไป ลูกใหม่ก็ขึ้นมาแทนที่ไม่ได้ขาด

บรรณศาลาก็เช่นเดียวกัน ปัจจุบันนี้ยังคงมีอยู่ และจะหายไปพร้อมกับต้นนารีผลเมื่อสิ้นสมัยพุทธกาล

ว่ากันว่า บางครั้ง ฤๅษีที่บำเพ็ญเพียรจนตบะกล้า กิเลสสงบรำงับ เพื่อจะทดสอบจิตตน ก็จะเหาะไปที่ต้นนารีผล มองดูนารีผล ว่าตนจะตบะแตกหรือไม่... หรือบางครั้งฤๅษีผู้เป็นอาจารย์ อาจจะพาลูกศิษย์ไปทดสอบระดับจิต ไปฝึกควบคุมจิต ที่นั่น ก็มี

และว่ากันว่า พวกนักสิทธิ์วิทยาธร มักจะเหาะไปเก็บนารีผล อุ้มมาเชยชมแล้ว ฝึกจิตใหม่ ค่อยเหาะกลับออกมา

นารีผล เป็นที่ต้องการของสัตว์วิเศษ (คนธรรพ์เป็นต้น) รวมถึงวิทยาธรทั้งหลายผู้ยังไม่หมดกามราคะ ดังนั้น การที่นารีผลจะเหี่ยวแห้งคาต้นแล้วร่วงหล่นนั้น เป็นไปได้ยาก ก่อนจะโรยรา จะมีเทวดา สัตว์วิเศษ และวิทยาธร เป็นต้นมาเก็บเอาไป

หลายคนคงสงสัยว่าทำไมบรรณศาลาถึงมีอายุ ประมาณ 30,000 ปี เนื่องจากถูกเนรมิตสมัยพระเวสสันดร และหลังจากสวรรคต แล้วก็เสวยสุขบนสวรรค์อีก 2 เดือน จึงจุติมาเกิดเป็นพระพุทธเจ้า เวลาในสวรรค์ 1 วันทิพย์ เท่ากับ 400 ปีโลกมนุษ =24000 +2550+79+ นิดหน่อย
